Terms and Conditions for Tenadoc Digital Healthcare PLC
1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your access to and use of the telemedicine services ("Platform") provided by Tenadoc Digital Healthcare PLC ("Tenadoc").
1.2 By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including our Privacy Policy and any other applicable guidelines.
2. Services Provided
2.1 Tenadoc provides telemedicine consultations through secure video call, connecting users with licensed healthcare professionals.
2.2 The services offered on the Platform are intended for non-emergency medical consultations. In case of an emergency, you should seek immediate medical attention from a healthcare facility.
3. User Eligibility
3.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to register and use the Platform.
3.2 By using Tenadoc’s services, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement and that you are not prohibited from using telemedicine services.
4. Account Registration and Security
4.1 To access the Platform’s services, you are required to create an account.
4.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
4.3 You agree to immediately notify Tenadoc if you believe that your account has been compromised or if there is any unauthorized access.
5. Consultation Process
5.1 Consultations will be conducted with licensed healthcare professionals via video call based on mutual agreement between the user and the healthcare provider.
5.2 Users are expected to provide accurate and honest health information to the healthcare provider to facilitate proper medical guidance and treatment.
5.3 All consultations will be conducted in a professional and confidential manner.
6. Video Consultation Security and Prohibition on Recording
6.1 Tenadoc ensures that all video consultations are encrypted with end-to-end encryption, providing a secure and private communication channel for both the user and the healthcare provider.
6.2 Tenadoc does not record any video consultations. All communications are real-time and are not stored on the Platform.
6.3 Recording, capturing screenshots, or any form of surveillance during a video consultation is strictly prohibited for both the user and the healthcare provider.
6.4 Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of the consultation and potential suspension of access to the Platform.
7. Confidentiality and Privacy
7.1 Tenadoc is committed to safeguarding your personal health information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
7.2 All personal and medical information shared during the consultation will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, except as required by law.
8. Payment and Fees
8.1 Users are required to pay for consultations as outlined on the Platform before the consultation begins, unless otherwise specified.
8.2 Payment methods accepted by Tenadoc will be clearly displayed on the Platform.
8.3 In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling of a consultation, you may be eligible for a refund according to Tenadoc’s refund and cancellation policy.
9. User Conduct
9.1 Users agree to use the Platform respectfully and responsibly, ensuring that their behavior during consultations is appropriate.
9.2 The Platform must not be used for any illegal, abusive, disruptive, or harmful activities.
9.3 Any violation of these conduct rules may lead to suspension or permanent termination of access to the Platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Tenadoc makes no guarantee regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment provided through the Platform.
10.2 Tenadoc is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, except as required by applicable law.
10.3 The Platform is not a replacement for in-person medical care. Always seek immediate assistance from healthcare facilities for emergencies.
11. Termination of Access
11.1 Tenadoc reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if there is a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
11.2 Users may also terminate their account by notifying Tenadoc, though any outstanding payments must be settled before cancellation.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 All content on the Platform, including text, logos, trademarks, videos, and software, is the intellectual property of Tenadoc and its licenser, is protected by intellectual property laws.
12.2 You may not use any of Tenadoc’s intellectual property without prior written permission.
13. Modifications to Terms
13.1 Tenadoc reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
13.2 Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. By continuing to use the Platform after such modifications, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
13.3 Users are encouraged to review these Terms and Conditions regularly.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
14.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ethiopia.
14.2 Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall be resolved through arbitration/mediation in Ethiopia, unless otherwise required by law.
